“The riches of music are so excellent and so precious that words fail me whenever I attempt to discuss and describe them. Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in this world. It controls our thoughts, minds, hearts, and spirits.”
Martin Luther, 1538
Sunday Worship
We worship God together Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
Our services combine a variety of worship music from traditional hymnody and liturgy to modern praise music utilizing our organ, piano, guitarists, praise band, and instrumentalists. We use the ELW (Evangelical Lutheran Worship), the new ACS (All Creations Sings supplement), and pull from many additional musical resources while celebrating the diverse nature of our musicians and our people.
Pilgrim celebrates open communion every week. Any baptized Christian who is seeking the forgiveness of Christ in the bread and wine, the body and blood of our Lord, is welcome to participate in the supper with us.
There is “cry room” space available in the back of the church so that parents can tend to their children and also participate in worship. We enjoy fellowship time after worship with coffee and goodies prepared by people of the church; we call this time “Coffee with Luther.” All are welcome!
Our monthly midweek meal, activity, and worship! See you there!
